Amshipora (shopian) IIOJK fake encounter, innocent labours killed by Indian troops

Srinagar: On 18 July 2020, three innocent Kashmiri youth (Cousins), Ibrar Ahmed, Imtiaz Ahmed and Muhammad Ibrar from Rajouri were killed by Indian troops of Rashtriya Rifles near Amshipora in Shopian District. Initially, it was claimed that all three were foreign terrorists and were killed after they opened fire on security team. Later, it was revealed by relatives of victims and local Police that the victims were innocent labours. Army had staged encounter allegedly to claim a cash bounty of Rs 20 Lacs (US$26000) which is granted by Indian Army as a reward for killing a militant. On protest by the parents / relatives of victims an inquiry of the incident revealed that the encounter was staged by Captain Bhobindar Singh and Rashtriya Rifles troops alongwith their informants. Army has now initiated Court Martial Proceedings against the officer on account of exceeding power under AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act). It has been claimed now that the officer has provided wrong information to his superior and Police about the staged encounter. Fake encounters in IIOJK is a routine matter for Indian Army and ISF. They are continuously busy in killing of innocent youth across IIOJK. Indian Army and Police use light words as neutralized / eliminated after killing of youth in fake encounters in order to hide from human rights organization. The inquiry conducted on pressure of parents / relatives of Amshipora encounter has verified the claim of Kashmiris that our youth is being killed through systematic genocide by Indian occupational forces. Kashmiris want probe / inquiry of all encounters to expose Indian atrocities in IIOJK.
